“Ah…” It wasn’t as if she was willing enough to tell the truth, let alone to her superior– but she wasn’t about to try and lie, either. A quiet exhale escaped through her nose, and she turned away from the other to gaze ahead of her.

“… If I told you I just wanted to look at the stars for a while, would you believe me?” It wasn’t the whole truth, but it wasn’t a blatant lie either.
